Our beautiful campus is known for its green space and blend of contemporary and traditional architecture. Street traffic is minimized, so you can walk to the heart of campus from any University location in less than 15 minutes. To view the campus, visit the campus map.
We are friendly and open and take pride in being a caring community. We believe in employment equity, welcoming women, Aboriginal Peoples, persons with disabilities and members of visible minorities.
We attract faculty, staff and students from a range of cultural backgrounds. And we strive to give our Canadian students a global perspective through interaction with international students and 65 different study abroad opportunities.
We have excellent recreation and sports facilities - arenas, pools, a field house, fitness facilities and running trails in our 408-acre arboretum. Day-care facilities are also available on campus. Thanks to our vibrant cultural community, there are weekly musical events, numerous drama productions and art shows in our campus galleries.
Moneysence magazine 2007 ranked Guelph as #4 in their listing of the best places to live in Canada.
Guelph is only an hour's drive from Toronto and is close to several other high-calibre educational institutions, allowing faculty to interact and collaborate with colleagues at these universities.
