"The Commuter Challenge is a great opportunity to try something new and break away from motorized vehicle-dependency," says Gillian Maurice, U of G's sustainability co-ordinator. Register online and pledge to try to bike, walk, bus, carpool or telework during the week, and track the number of kilometres you travel, or avoid travelling. U of G community members who register under the U of G designation will be eligible to win prizes.
