Computing services to be interrupted

Most University e-mail and web services will be unavailable for about four hours starting at 8 p.m. Thursday.

Computing and Communications Services is upgrading the power supply to the University Computer Centre, which requires an electrical shutdown. Services will be affected until about 12 a.m. Friday.

All University websites and central e-mail inboxes and folders will be unavailable during this time. Mail will be held for delivery until services resume.

People on campus during this period will continue to have access to the rest of the Internet.
