U of G Pitching In to Conserve Power
July 18, 2005 - Campus Bulletin
In an effort to help reduce power consumption during this period of extreme temperatures, the University asks all departments to make a conscious effort to help cut energy use in their units by reducing lighting in areas where it is not required and turning off all equipment when not in use for extended periods.
Air-conditioning in buildings across campus was adjusted slightly to assist in energy conservation in early July to reduce our energy consumption.
