U of G Profs Featured in National News

A commentary by U of G sociology professor Cecil Foster on multiculturalism and homegrown terrorism appears in today's issue of the Globe and Mail. Foster is considered to be among Canada's leading intellectuals on issues of race, culture, citizenship and immigration.
Also, research headed by U of G family relations professor Kerry Daly on the complex challenges facing fathers was featured in national news reports over the weekend. Articles on the research appeared in the Toronto Star, National Post , on CTV's Newsnet, on CBC radio, and on CBC’s Analysis and Viewpoint.
Daly is the director of the national Father Involvement Research Alliance (FIRA), a five-year, $1-million research project aiming to increase father involvement. The FIRA study included interviews with a diverse cross-section of more than 300 fathers from across Canada.
