U of G Expresses Sympathy to Dawson College, Lowers Campus Flags

The University of Guelph is expressing sympathy to the Dawson College community following a shooting rampage at the Montreal school Wednesday. The campus flags will be at half-mast in honour of the woman who was killed and the people who were injured.
“We are deeply saddened by the news of this senseless act of violence,” says president Alastair Summerlee. “Our thoughts are with the victims, their families, and other Dawson students, faculty, staff and alumni who have been touched by this tragedy.”
U of G would like to remind its community members that counselling services are always available to assist students and employees, including during times of national and global distress.
