U of G to Participate in Ontario Universities' Fair
September 25, 2006 - Campus Bulletin
The University of Guelph and the University of Guelph-Humber will take part in the Ontario Universities’ Fair Sept. 29 to Oct. 1 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The event is expected to attract 80,000 prospective students and their families.
The fair is the largest off-campus recruitment event of the year. It gives prospective students and their families the opportunity to visit displays, attend presentations, collect handbooks, and have their questions answered by representatives from all 20 Ontario universities.
Staff from U of G’s Admission Services and Guelph-Humber will be on-hand during the fair to answer questions about programs and services. Faculty, staff and students from both campuses will also share their expertise and detailed knowledge.
Fair visitors are primarily senior high school students and their families, and teachers and guidance counsellors from the Greater Toronto Area and beyond.
The Ontario Universities’ Fair is being held in the South Building of the Convention Centre. Hours are: Friday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
