Input Sought for VP Research Search
April 23, 2008 - Campus Bulletin
The University community is invited to participate in the search process for the new vice-president (research).
A search committee was established by Senate. The University is also using the services of Laverne Smith and Associates Inc. to assist in the search.
A website has been developed to keep the community updated on the search process. The first step will be for the search committee to develop a profile and an advertisement for the position.
The search committee is asking for the University community's help in identifying key characteristics that would define the new vice-president (research) as well as outline the challenges and issues facing the new appointee. Questionnaires are available by visiting the website. It is asked the questionnaires be completed by April 29.
In addition, input can be give informally or formally to the search agent or to members of the search committee at any time.
