Student Research Journal Surges Online

The latest issue of U of G's multidiscliplinary undergraduate research journal, SURG (Studies by Undergraduate Researchers at Guelph), is now available online. It showcases studies by students from all disciplines on campus.
The open-access publication is published by the Office of Research, in conjunction with the McLaughlin Library. The refereed journal is created with student participation and an advisory board consisting of some of the University’s top researchers.
SURG acknowledges the excellence and role that undergraduates play in contributions across the campus to world-class research at U of G, says Steven Liss, interim vice-president (research ). “We take particular pride in the outstanding students at Guelph who choose to pursue graduate studies and careers as a result of the experiential learning gained in a research setting at the University."
