College Idol Contestants Sought
September 28, 2009 - Campus Bulletin
You could be our idol! Contestants are needed for the second annual College Idol and Halloween Lunch Costume Party -- a United Way fundraiser sponsored by the Office of Research.
Hundreds of faculty, staff, students and retirees attended the College Idol event last year, so it’s a great way to show off your talent and help support your community through the United Way. If you’ve got talent or know someone who does, contact your dean or unit director or send details to Natalie Carter, Office of Research, by Sept. 30 at 519-826-3809 or cartern@uoguelph.ca.
The 2009 College Idol competition is Oct. 30 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Peter Clark Hall. The event includes lunch and special guest judges. Idol contestants will perform at noon, and the audience can “vote” for their favourite idol by making a donation in the contestant’s United Way ballot box. Voting will continue until Nov. 25.
Carter is the contact for both idol contestants and tickets: 519-826-3809 or cartern@uoguelph.ca.
