U of G Heads to Ontario Universities' Fair
September 22, 2009 - Campus Bulletin
The University of Guelph and the University of Guelph-Humber will take part in the Ontario Universities' Fair Sept. 25 to 27 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. The event is expected to attract more than 100,000 prospective students and their families.
The fair is the largest off-campus recruitment event of the year. It gives prospective students and their families the opportunity to visit displays, attend presentations, collect handbooks and have their questions answered by representatives from all 21 Ontario universities.
Staff from admission services and student service areas from both U of G and Guelph-Humber will be on hand during the fair to answer questions. Faculty, staff and students from both campuses will also share their expertise and knowledge with prospective students.
Fair visitors are primarily senior high school students and their families and teachers and guidance counsellors from the Greater Toronto Area and beyond.
The Ontario Universities’ Fair is being held in the South Building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. It runs from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
