Flags to Be at Half-Mast Thursday, Friday

Campus flags will be at half-mast Thursday to mark the funeral service for U of G Hospitality Services employee Francesca Marra, who died Oct. 29, and for Ridgetown campus student Roman Sturzenegger, who died Oct. 31.
A visitation for Marra will be held from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph. A vigil will be held at the same location at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 98 Alice St., Guelph.
There will be a visitation for Sturzenegger Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Blyth Visitation Centre of the Falconer Funeral Home, 153 High St., Clinton. A celebration of his life will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Blyth United Church, 442 Mill Street, Blyth.
Flags will be at half-mast Friday to mark the funeral service for Dale Peters, an instructor at Ridgetown Campus, who died Oct. 30. He taught in the environmental and agricultural programs for many years.
A visitation will be held Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the Rodney Chapel of Denning Funeral Directors, 212 Furnival Rd., London. A funeral service will be held at the same location Friday at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Four Counties Health Services.
