Business professor Sean Lyons was featured on the popular CBC Radio program The Current Wednesday. Lyons discussed youth employment and the millennial generation's lofty career expectations.
Lyons's conducted a study, published in the Journal of Business and Psychology last spring, that found a majority of Canadian undergraduate students about to enter the workforce presume they will be promoted within the first 18 months of starting a job and be handed a 63-per-cent increase in their salary within the first five years. His research has been featured in a number of newspapers across Canada.
