Citizenship & Leadership Education Workshops Coming

Citizenship & Leadership Education, in Student Life and Career Services is offering three workshops March 8 to 10 to prepare graduating students for leadership beyond the U of G campus. They are the final offerings in their series of Leadership Education Workshops.

�Challenge of Choice� takes place on March 8, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in UC 332. This event brings together a panel of U of G alumni to speak about how their campus leadership experience prepared them for personal and professional success.

On March 9, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in UC 332 is �Mentoring Relationships�, an exploration of the relationship between a mentor and a mentee as a learning and supportive learning environment based on life experience. Participants will be given tips on how to seek out the mentor they want and need.

The �Lifelong Leadership Luncheon� on March 10, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in UC 103 will be an opportunity for students to meet and speak with community leaders in academics, business, politics, social justice and spirituality over a complimentary lunch. Limited space is available, and students must register by March 4th.
