Ship in insulated container with freezer packs.

Collection Protocol

Swab the environmental surface(s) requiring testing. Place sponges, swiffers, etc. into a leakproof sterile container. Place swabs into bacterial transport medium. Refrigerate immediately.

Additional Information

Testing for the presence of E. coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa & Salmonella spp. Susceptibility testing is not routinely done.
