Research Summary: The primary objective of this study is to substantiate the concept of a synergistic interaction between guanidinoacetic acid (GAA) and rumen-protected methionine (Met) concerning their impact on the performance, carcass yield, and meat quality characteristics of finishing beef steers. This research project aligns directly with the rationale for research and benefits as it focuses on the development and adoption of nutritional strategies that optimize performance in finishing beef cattle, as well as carcass yield, and quality attributes of the beef derived from these animals.
