Join us on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
Please join us on September 30 as we hold a ceremony to recognize the victims and survivors of the residential school system on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
Organized by the Department of Integrative Biology’s Indigenous Belonging and Connections Committee, this memorial will hold space for reflection, consideration and respect. Several members of the College of Biological Science will say a few words and present a plaque to mark the occasion.
The College intends for this to be an annual event, and is working on plans for a permanent memorial garden and place for reflection.
This event is open to everyone within CBS and the greater University of Guelph community.
We will congregate outside the Summerlee Science Complex at 10am.
Please share any questions or feedback with Ryan Gregory and Melissa Perreault, co-chairs of the committee.
