Skype for Business

Microsoft Skype for Business is a feature rich web conferencing tool that allows participants to connect with others anywhere in the world through the use of video and/or audio as well as content sharing. Popular uses for Skype for Business include web meetings, presentations, conferences, webinars, and e-learning. Every member of the University of Guelph online community can use Skype for Businesss.  Skype for Business is available on your PC, Mac, and mobile devices.  

Software Distribution

The University facilitates the purchase or use of software for a wide range of applications.

Teams (via Office 365)

Office 365 Teams is a collaboration service that provides shared conversation spaces to help teams coordinate and communicate information.

Teleworker Z3

The Cisco Meraki Teleworker Z3 is a router-like device that allows students, faculty, and staff to get access to University resources securely. Access is similar to the existing Cisco AnyConnect VPN service, but without requiring users' computers, laptops, or mobile devices to have VPN software installed and running.

University Directory (LDAP)

The University Directory (LDAP) contains each person’s contact, department, and computer access information.

Voice Mail


Business Voice Mail is a voice messaging service, which can be accessed from any departmental phone.

Webex
