Covie Painting

Join the Guelph Engineering Society for another chance to meet other first years. We will be hosting a paint session where you can come and let your imagination run wild! Use art on your covies to express yourself and make new engineering friends. Bring anything you want to paint like coveralls, shoes, the sky is the limit! (Paint and paint brushes provided, anything extra is BYO)  This is a free event.

Profs, Coffee and Ice Cream Social

CEPSSC is bringing you a social event to meet professors and other students in the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences! Coffee, snacks, and ice cream will be available. Board games and card games will also be provided. This event is intended to help you meet new friends, learn about our associated clubs, and meet some professors in this department. All are welcome! This is a free event.

EngSoc Games Night

Come join Guelph Engineering on Monday, September 5th in the THRN atrium anytime between 7:30pm and 9:30pm for some good ol' fashioned video games and board games! We're going to have a Nintendo Wii as well as a Switch and we'll just be hanging out, playing games. So drop in for a game or stay a while and just chill, forget about your worries (at least for a bit), and hang out with friends! This is a free event.

Engineering Society Club Fair

Want to get involved in some cool engineering related clubs and extracurriculars? Come out and explore all the amazing opportunities that the Guelph Engineering department has to offer and make your mark. Roam around the atrium in Thornbrough, visit as many club booths that interest you, talk to club representatives and look out for some free merch these clubs may have to offer. A great way to start your journey in engineering here at the University of Guelph. This is a free event.

Guelph Engineering Meet and Greet

Come join us in kicking off your O-Week the Guelph Engineering way! This event will include O-Week kit, but don’t worry if you forgot to buy one – we’ll be selling more here too, as well as Guelph Engineering merch. It’ll also be a time for you (our Little Buddies) to meet each other and join into groups with our upper year students (known as Big Buddies). Following O-Week kit pickup and Big Buddy/Little Buddy group formation, we will march our banner from the Albert A.

U of G Community Bike Ride

Join the Campus Safety Office Special Constable Bicycle Patrol Team for a bike ride around the U of G Guelph Campus! The ride will encompass hotspots such as the Arboretum, Gryphon Statue, the newly renovated Alumni Stadium and a general ride through the main campus including Branion Plaza. Staff and faculty are encouraged to bring their families as the ride will end on Johnston Green where there will be ice cream and chance to connect! Don’t like biking? Register anyways and details will be shared on when to stop by at Johnston Green for the activities.
