The School of Engineering, Lang, and Gryphon Football are excited to be hosting Olympic soccer player Diana Matheson on Wednesday, March 22nd at 7pm for our annual HeForShe gender equity event at the Event Centre (Guelph Gryphons Athletic Centre)! This event is free and open to the U of G and broader Guelph community but has a limited capacity.

The annual Spill the Beans food industry night is back; brought to you by the Undergraduate and Graduate Food Science Clubs!
Spill the beans is a career networking event for students interested in working in the food industry. Representatives from various food companies will be in attendance to network with you!
There will be FREE resume critiques and appetizers, along with a cash bar for alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages.

College Royal is the largest university open house event of its kind in North America. Each March, the University of Guelph opens its doors to the general public in a campus-wide open house that attracts thousands of visitors every year.

The Winegard Visiting Lectureship in Physics with Dr. Donna Strickland
Nobel Laureate Donna Strickland is the inaugural guest for the return of the William Winegard Lecture Series, and is giving a public lecture on Thursday March 16 at the Athletic Centre. Hosted by the Department of Physics, the event is 6-8pm, with a reception and light refreshments available before her lecture at 6:45pm.

On Friday, March 3 at 12:00PM EST, CARE-AI will host author and University of Ottawa professor Dr. Kelly Bronson in-person as she provides a short a presentation on her book The Immaculate Conception of Data: Agribusiness, Activists, and Their Shared Politics of the Future followed by a fireside chat. The book explores secretive legal agreements surrounding agricultural big data to examine how it is used and with what consequences.
