On August 28, 2018, The National Ground Water Association (NGWA [1]) announced the recipients of the 2018 NGWA Awards of Excellence. Professor Beth Parker [2] from the University of Guelph's School of Engineering was among the award winners. She was awarded the M. King Hubbert Award—presented to a person who has made a major science or engineering contribution to the groundwater industry through research, technical papers, teaching, and practical applications. Congratulations, Prof. Parker!
