If you've loved / are loving your study abroad experience this year and are interested in helping other UofG students have the same awesome opportunity, the Centre for International Programs is currently recruiting for new Peer Helpers for the 2018-19 academic year.
Peer Helpers must commit to a minimum of two semesters and typically volunteer 5 hours per week, for which they receive a small honorarium. CIP Peer Helpers present the Study Abroad Information Sessions, promote UofG's study abroad programs to students and answer questions about applying to study abroad and pre-departure processes. For more info and the application, visit:

(CIP Peers also help to welcome incoming exchange students each semester, but this is a very small part of the job - if you're more interested in working with new exchange and international students, you may want to apply to be a Peer Helper with the Office of Intercultural Affairs or English Language Programs. As CIP is only hiring 2 Peer Helpers, you may also want to apply for Peer Helper positions in other offices as well, to increase your chances of being hired. Students must apply to each office separately and can apply for up to four offices.)
The deadline for applications is Wednesday, February 14. If you’re chosen for an interview but are still out of Canada, we can arrange to do an interview by Skype or telephone.
