About the Department of Economics and Finance
Established in 1966, the Department of Economics and Finance is one of four units in the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics. It has a faculty complement of 27, with teaching and research interests across the entire range of economic and financial analysis.
The Department offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs leading to the degrees Bachelor of Commerce (BComm), Bachelor of Arts (BA), Master of Arts (MA), and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). These programs offer opportunity for different levels of specialization in economics, finance and business as well as flexibility to suit the individual student.
