Learning Beyond the Classroom

How the Learning Unfolds

1st year:
laying the foundations in math, marketing, accounting, business and economics of the agri-food system

2nd year:
intermediate and applied economics for food markets analysis; intro to human resource and information management  

3rd year:
methods and learning cases for financial and risk management, empirical economic research

4th year:
managerial economics, strategic management and policy analysis in food and agribusiness

Ontario secondary school students applying to the program require English (ENG4U), Advanced Functions (MHF4U), 1 additional 4Umath, and 3 additional 4U or 4M courses.
