My name is Travis Jansen and I am a graduate student in the University of Guelph's Food, Agriculture and Resource Economics program. I was born and raised on a swine and cash crop farm in Seaforth Ontario and am using my background in agriculture to perform meaningful research that will benefit Ontario farmers. Outside of school, I enjoy going home to work on my family's farm and spending time around arenas and soccer fields as a player, referee and coach. Upon graduation I hope to use my skills in business, economics and agriculture to help farmers with their analysis and development of new farm business strategies.
