Livia Sente
Profile:
A rich academic & teaching background in business at Wilfrid Laurier University has equipped me with both the hard and soft skills required to excel in pursuing research and other professional interests at the University of Guelph. With a keen eye for innovation and an unwavering dedication to the service of others, my tenacious work ethic allows me to seek out and act upon areas of improvement: both professionally and within the communities and organizations to which I belong.
Teaching Interests:
As a citizen the increasingly more interdependent world that we call home, it is hard not to be compelled to bring interdisciplinary views into my teaching. In particular, my undergraduate background in business, passion for entrepreneurship, and research interests in economics enable me to draw on a wide variety of perspectives and real world issues in asking my students thought-provoking questions that are truly relevant to our time. Additionally, my deeply-rooted interest in pedagogy continually sparks new ideas to not only enrich— but effectively innovate upon— the student learning experience. I hope to implement these ideas upon attaining my ulitmate career goal of university professorship.
