How does the GSA support grad students?
The Graduate Students’ Association (GSA) is the sole official representative body of graduate students at the University of Guelph, acting as the liaison between graduate students and University Administration.
The GSA represents and advocates on behalf of graduate students on most University Committees.
The GSA Executive, Staff, & Board of Directors work to provide services that advance the academic, professional and social wellbeing of its members.
What the GSA does
Fund
The GSA allocates financial support (up to $20,000 annually) to graduate students in the form of Child Care Bursaries, Travel Grants and Activities Grants.
Advocate
The GSA advocates on more than 40 University-level committees on behalf of graduate students.
Support
The GSA provides guidance with academic disputes and private space for graduate student counselling.
