About Food Day Canada and the University of Guelph:
Food Day Canada was originally created by Anita Stewart, the University of Guelph’s former Food Laureate. Food Day Canada is a chance to celebrate Canadian food and the people who produce, cook and research food. This year marks the 20th Anniversary of Food Day Canada. The University of Guelph, as Canada’s Food University, has supported Food Day Canada for many years. This event is organized by the Arrell Food Institute in partnership with the University of Guelph, the Ontario Agricultural College and the School of Hospitality, Food and Tourism Management at the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics.
