Duff Shaw, a leader in Canada’s hospitality and tourism industry for nearly thirty years, is going to be a guest lecturer at the University of Guelph’s HTM program on Wednesday, March 13th, from 4-7pm. His career has included a position in the M&IT Hall of Fame (he was inducted as an inaugural member of the Hall of Fame in 2011), more than ten years as a Professor at Ryerson, and numerous accolades from industry, professional associations such as MPI, and academic institutions.
His current specialization is three-fold: he continues to guide the company he founded, "Incentives International Inc.", a company that offering expertise in international conventions and incentives, he teaches courses at Ryerson, and he continues to research meetings, events, and incentive travel.
This Seminar event is open to all University of Guelph students. The focus of this seminar is to learn how to plan an effective incentive program while ensuring financial goals can be met.
