Dr. Anthony Incognito, assistant professor in the Division of Biomedical Sciences at Memorial University of Newfoundland, will present Targeted neuromodulation for circulatory disorders on May 2 at 1 p.m. in FS 146.
Dr. Incognito’s research focuses on neuromodulation therapies for enhancing cardiovascular health, with particular attention to autonomic nervous system function and blood pressure regulation. His work spans translational research on conditions like orthostatic intolerance and hypertension, which are common in conditions like spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS).
