Navigating today’s work environment comes with challenges and opportunities for everyone. For those who think differently—whether you identify as neurodivergent, are exploring if you might be, or work alongside colleagues who are neurodivergent—understanding how to create an inclusive, supportive, and productive workplace is key. This session is designed for individuals who are neurodivergent or curious about how to better support peers who are neurodivergent. Participants will gain practical tools and strategies to thrive at work, foster understanding, and build stronger connections with their teams. All participants will have the opportunity to develop a personalized "Operating Manual" to identify, articulate, and share their needs with others. This session is ideal for anyone looking to navigate neurodiversity at work—whether for yourself or your colleagues.
After participating, you’ll be able to:
- Recognize common areas of strength and challenge in today’s work environment for individuals who are neurodivergent.
- Identify areas of need within your current role and work context.
- Create an action plan with strategies to leverage strengths and address challenges.
- Effectively collaborate with others, such as managers or co-workers, to gain support for personalized goals and inclusive practices.
