The Guelph Food Bank has extended the date for the Thanksgiving Food Drive to October 29 in an effort to reach their goal of collecting 80,000 pounds of food.
A donation bin is available in Human Resources for food drop off weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Human Resources is located on the 5th floor of the University Centre (South).
Needed items include:
- Canned Fruits
- Canned Tomatoes
- Canned Vegetables
- Peanut Butter, Jam and Cheese Spreads
- Soups and Stews
- Canned Meat
- Juice (Powdered, Canned, Etc)
- No Sugar Foods
- Rice and Rice Products
- Toiletries
- No Salt Foods
- Spaghetti Sauce
- Beans and Lentils
- Pasta
- Diapers and Pull–ups
- Baby Food and Cereals
