Learning & Development, Human Resources is now accepting applications for Building Leadership Effectiveness (BLE), a two-day leadership development program for leaders and managers at U of G. Alumni of this program have called it inspiring, valuable, and "the best workshop that I have participated in during my career at the University."
BLE encourages leaders to develop practices that transform values into action, vision into realities, obstacles into innovations, and risks into rewards. Participants will be introduced to the five practices of exemplary leadership: modeling the way, inspiring a shared vision, challenging the process, enabling others to act, and encouraging the heart.
This program is designed for U of G leaders who have been in a leadership role and/or have been managing or supervising others for at least 9 months and are willing to participate in a 360° feedback process.
Leaders who wish to participate in the June 2014 offering of BLE can indicate their interest by applying for the program through the Learning & Development registration system [1].
