Effective February 1, 2016, Sun Life's new administrative change impacting the adjudication of coordination of benefits claims will take effect. Coordination of benefits refers to a process where claims are paid through more than one benefit plan.
Sun Life's administrative change may affect you if you submit claims for your dependents (spouse/partner/children) through your spouse/partner's benefit plan prior to submitting to your plan. This change may impact claims incurred on or after the effective date.
