Congratulations to Jesse Allen, our May "G" Thanks! [1] winner, for his outstanding contributions to the Purchasing Department and his exceptional leadership during a challenging fiscal year end.
Margaret Warren shared in her nomination:
"Big thanks to Jesse Allen for all of your hard work through our long recruitment process, and for leading the way through a challenging fiscal year end. Your diligence and attention to detail are very much appreciated, both by your colleagues in the Purchasing Department and by the clients that you serve."
During the small celebration held in Jesse's honour, Margaret elaborated on her nomination, emphasizing the immense workload Jesse took on after losing a long-time employee. She acknowledged the challenging nature of the circumstances and commended Jesse's ability to persevere. She also mentioned that the year-end period was particularly demanding for the department, making Jesse's accomplishments even more commendable.
Grateful for the recognition, Jesse humbly expressed his appreciation while emphasizing that his achievements were the result of a collaborative team effort. He acknowledged the support he received from his colleague Hui, who worked closely with him. Hui praised Jesse's reliability and contributions to the team. Hui also expressed immense gratitude for having Jesse as a teammate, both before and after the recent challenges, which only reaffirmed her belief in Jesse's abilities and character.
Margaret added that Jesse is working towards obtaining his purchasing designation, setting high expectations for his future endeavours.
