Student claim submission guidelines

Important: You must have received approval for funding from the Conference and Competition Funding Committee prior to submitting your claim. Please see the Conference and Competition Funding homepage for full information on the application process.

The claim form cannot be processed until all reflection pieces have been received for all students included on the application. Reflections must be a minimum of 250 words and should include experience and knowledge gained from the competition or conference. You can upload your reflections at the end of this form (if submitting as a team, please paste all reflections into one document).

It is the responsibility of the students to collect receipts and document all costs incurred. Receipts must include the conference/competition name, the registrant's name(s) and the total amount paid. The competition or conference must be attended within four months of receiving a grant for funding.

The primary contact is required to submit a single claim form along with receipts within 14 days of attending the competition or conference.

The claim form will be cross referenced with the original grant. A cheque will be granted within three to four weeks. In most cases, individual cheques will be sent to each student.

By proceeding to the submission claim form you confirm that you have read and understand the above guidelines. If you have any questions about claiming expenses, please the Business Career Development Centre at langcareers@uoguelph.ca.
