The University of Guelph Marketing Society (UGMS) is proud to present Networking Night 2018. This is a great opportunity for students to interact with top-tier industry professionals, and learn about exciting opportunities within various industries. They will have representatives from:  - Pepsico - Free For All Marketing - Axonify - Fluent Doors will open at 6pm with the event concluding at 8pm, please feel free to arrive at your leisure.

Learn how to develop a professional business resume and cover letter – gain insight into industry best practices and what employers look for in a resume, including strategies on how to make your documents unique! RBC is inviting students to come to their head office in Toronto to meet with business professionals and recruiters from many different areas of the bank. The event will include a brief presentation to introduce all areas involved, and lead into an “expo”-style portion where areas that are looking to hire students will be available and ready to network.

In preparation for the upcoming HFTM Job Expo, a professionally-led resume best practices workshop will be held to help you learn the do's and don'ts of resume building- including how to cater to employers to get an edge. This a great opportunity and is open to students in all majors!   

This course in beer education is designed and developed for participants who wish to further their knowledge of beer for use in the following: the hospitality industry; as an agent for a brewer/distributor of beer; or, beverage alcohol education. The focus is to provide more detailed insights into brewing ingredients and processes, draught systems while introducing Canadian brewing history and further investigating negative sensory components.

Accenture will be hosting an in-office networking event and speaker panel session in their downtown location for their upcoming internship recruitment cycle. They will be providing an informal setting to learn more about Accenture, the work they do, and an opportunity to meet with Consulting professionals.
