3MT® is a university wide competition for graduate students in which participants present their research and its wider impact in 3 minutes or less to a panel of non-specialist judges. The challenge is to present complex research in an engaging, accessible and compelling way, using only one slide.

The GryphBiz Case Competition brings teams of students together from various Guelph high schools to compete for best in class (school) status. Students represent their school in presenting a careful response to a case study describing a real-world situation or problem facing a business organization.  Learn more on the GryphBiz Case Competition web page.  

The Community Engaged Scholarship Institute invites you to explore 50 posters by researchers from community organizations, municipal staff, faculty, students – all presenting ‘what we know’ about Guelph-Wellington. From cats and deer to water usage and food waste, and everything in between, posters will cover a diverse range of topics. Come out to this event to meet the researchers and to learn what amazing work is going on in and about our communities!  Brief opening remarks will begin 1:30pm. Presenters will be available to discuss their posters from 1:30-4pm. 

The Recruit Guelph Job Fair is an opportunity to meet employers who are looking to hire students for summer, co-op, part time, full time and contract positions. All employers have active positions on Recruit Guelph and are attending to meet with applicants face-to-face to answer any questions. Students of all programs and years are welcome to attend this fair!   Note: Registration is not necessary to attend. Why Attend this Job Fair: It’s free! The Visiting Speaker Series is an opportunity for invited researchers and professionals, external to the University of Guelph, to present their research topic(s) to faculty and students. On February 24, the Department of Economics and Finance will welcome  Pierre-Olivier Pineau from HEC Montreal. Anyone from the University of Guelph is welcome to attend.
