Join the Accounting Society of Guelph in presenting the first of many 'Business Student Socials'. Come make it out on November 10th to play some awesome board games, enjoy some delectable snacks, and of course have a coffee (or two). This is an amazing way to meet new people in a relaxing and fun environment! Join Michelle Duong,TEDx nominated speaker and Vice President Media of DECA U Ontario,  as she teaches you the importance of brand identity and the basics of design with Adobe Photoshop .  Who is this workshop for? Open to anyone who wants to learn basic Photoshop skills. More marketing jobs require creativity and Photoshop skills now. Please be sure to download a free trial version of photoshop for use while attending.

This session aims to provide students with information about the CHRP designation - everything from recent changes, to the process on how to obtain the HR designation. Panelists will be on hand to discuss their experience in obtaining their CHRP and relevance to their jobs and industry. The Visiting Speaker Series is an opportunity for invited researchers and professionals, external to the University of Guelph, to present their research topic(s) to faculty and students. On September 16, the Department of Economics and Finance will welcome Mahdiyeh Entezarkheir from Huron, Western University. Anyone from the University of Guelph is welcome to attend.
