2016 has been a pretty momentous year for the College of Business and Economics! We celebrate our 10th anniversary, opened the doors to the newly transformed Macdonald Hall and welcomed our largest cohort of business students to date! On October 28th from 11am until 1pm, all business students are invited to stop by the Paul MacPherson Marketplace inside Macdonald Hall for a “special treat” to help us celebrate!  Swag raffles, door prizes and Gryph the mascot! 

The Ontario Internship Program is a paid, two-year internship with the Government of Ontario. This program is designed to develop and grow top talent while delivering important public services to the people of Ontario. Individuals who have graduated or will graduate with a recognized degree, postgraduate certificate or diploma between May 2015 and June 2017 may apply.

The Entrepreneurship Society at the University of Guelph is proud to announce our first speaker series event of the 2016/2017 school year! Come join us at Make Your Mark event on Wednesday October 26th from 7:00 - 8:30pm in Alexander Hall (ALEX 100)! We plan on exposing you to young entrepreneurs who have made their mark. Our guest speakers are looking to give students the insight to and inspiration to facilitate their potential and encourage the entrepreneurial spirit in all of us!

The Business Career Development Centre is hosting a resume workshop specifically for Real Estate and Housing (REH) students in preparation for the upcoming REH Job Fair taking place on Wednesday, November 2nd.  This workshop requires pre-registration. The Visiting Speaker Series is an opportunity for invited researchers and professionals, external to the University of Guelph, to present their research topic(s) to faculty and students. On September 16, the Department of Economics and Finance will welcome Huseyin Yildirim from Duke University who will be speaking on the topic of "Committee Design under the Threat of Capture". Anyone from the University of Guelph is welcome to attend.
