Public Lecture - How Do Marketing and History Relate?

Prof. Brad Hudson, Visiting Fulbright Scholar from Boston University will be speaking about his research on brand heritage:  "How do marketing and history relate?" Brad is interested in the consumer appeal of older companies and suggests this may be enhanced by the historical characters of their brands.  He will share findings from his prior research about the cruise line Cunard, and also discuss his current research about the Canadian château hotels operated by Fairmont. Professor Hudson is with us during Winter 2011 while on sabbatical from Boston University.
