Lang launches new MSc program with a focus on entrepreneurship and innovation.
The new MSc in Management program includes a STEM-focused field for students hoping to build a career as an entrepreneur or as an commercialization expert.
The newly created Master of Science (MSc) in Management program will include a new field in Innovation, Commercialization and Entrepreneurship (ICE), ideal for students from a wide range of fields, including STEM-related disciplines.

U of G entrepreneurs compete in CBaSE’s Hub pitch competition.
The Centre for Business and Student Enterprise (CBaSE) recently hosted their Hub Incubator Program Pitch finals, bringing together U of G based start-ups with a panel of industry experts and mentors. This pitch-styled competition awarded the business that demonstrated the most potential for sustainable growth and best embodied the University’s mission to “improve life”. Jerry Ennet, a University of Guelph engineering student, was awarded the People’s Choice Award for his 3D printing company.

Speaker series event inspires students to become social entrepreneurs
Members of the University of Guelph community were given expert advice on building a sustainable enterprise by local business leaders at last week’s Bigger Picture Series event, hosted by the University of Guelph’s Centre for Business and Student Enterprise (CBaSE) and Enactus, a student-led social entrepreneurship association. The event welcomed a panel of four entrepreneurs who have personally experienced developing a new venture.
