Lang Commerce students have captured 17 awards, including two 1st place finishes, at the DECA International Career Development Conference in Orlando, Florida on April 13th. The business students competed against approximately 1,400 DECA members at the global competition.

This adds to Lang’s impressive performance at the DECA-U Ontario competition in January, where the School took home 10 awards. In 2019, Lang business students have captured a total of 27 DECA-U awards.

University of Guelph business students from DECA U Guelph travelled to Toronto last weekend to join more than 1,300 student delegates from across Ontario for one of Canada’s largest undergraduate conferences.

The DECA U Ontario competition is their flagship event, with student delegates competing in over 17 academic case categories, including both individual and team cases.

DECA U Guelph had another successful year at DECA’s International Career Development Conference (ICDC) with two U of G business students bringing home multiple top awards at the competition in Washington DC over the weekend.

Held annually, the competition welcomes over 1,500 collegiate DECA members from multiple countries to compete in intense case competitions focused on marketing, finance, hospitality and management.

The University of Guelph’s DECA U team brought home multiple awards last weekend from Canada’s largest undergraduate conference. The DECA U provincials united 1400 delegates from 22 universities and colleges in Ontario to compete in multiple academic categories through written and oral cases.

The University of Guelph’s JDC Central (JDCC) team started 2017 by earning plenty of bragging rights following its performance at JDCC in Ottawa last weekend. The team brought home four bronze medals in addition to recognition for spirit, participation and team leadership.
