Two University of Guelph business students from the Guelph Student Investment Council (GSIC) were invited to attend the Queen's Finance Association Conference (QFAC) in Toronto at the Omni King Edward Hotel.

BComm students Haley DeBruyne and Luka Vulicevic represented the University of Guelph at the conference, which has become a well-recognized undergraduate conference in the finance industry with sponsors including Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs and other New York IB firms.

The University of Guelph’s College of Business and Economics (CBE) has submitted their Sharing Information on Progress (SIP) report to the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME). This report details the college’s activities related to sustainability and responsible management within the framework of the United Nations Global Compact between 2016 and 2018.

University of Guelph business alumnus Gavin Armstrong appeared on last night’s season premiere of Dragons’ Den, pitching Lucky Iron Fish and his social enterprise Lucky Iron Fish Enterprise (LIFE).
