Lang Plaza at Macdonald Hall
For many years the University of Guelph's business school was spread out across campus. In 2016 the historic Macdonald Hall became its home with significant renovations done to the interior of the building to convert the 100-year-old residence into a modern learning facility.
We're now taking the opportunity of a quiet campus to create a new, welcoming outdoor space for our students return in 2021. Revitalizing the front of Macdonald Hall will create new outdoor spaces for our students, faculty and staff to meet, study and enjoy.
As part of the transformational $21-million gift from Stu and Kim Lang to name the U of G's business school, Lang Plaza at Macdonald Hall will feature an inspiring water fountain, nature-inspired fire pit, plenty of green space and lots of outdoor seating.
