Throughout her selfless mentorship and leadership, Lynda has fueled a significant increase for women in business throughout her illustrious 33 year career. She is a recipient of several prestigious awards, including the International Alliance for Women Award, the Canadian Women of Influence Award, and the YWCA Women of Distinction Award for Business.

In 2009, Deloitte & Touche established an internal award named in her honour for her support of the advancement of professional women in Canada.

Lynda has travelled to Inuit and First Nations organizations, discussing effective governance methods and financial statements. She has also taught in Lang’s Consumer Studies department with an emphasis in food. She currently sits on the board of MLSE Foundation.
