Two teams from the College of Business and Economics will represent the University of Guelph at the Frankie Tomatto's Restaurant Innovation Competition [1] finals that will be held March 2 at the Restaurants Canada Show [2] in Toronto. This past weekend, eight teams from Humber College, Ryerson University and the University of Guelph competed for three coveted spots at the finals by pitching their restaurant innovation ideas to a panel of expert judges. The semi-finals took place at U of G's School of Hospitality, Food and Tourism Management.
Congratulations to students Sunny Choi and Jenny Kim, and Rebecca McIlroy and Chloe Blais. Best of luck next week in Toronto.
