University of Guelph business students achieved their goal to raise $10,000 for youth at risk during their annual 5 Days for the Homeless campaign [1] last week. Five of our students spent five days sleeping in a tent in Branion Plaza, eating and drinking donated food and collecting funds for Wyndham House [2], a local organization that provides homeless youth with housing, educational alternatives, social support and programming. Student volunteers were joined by Dean Julia Christensen Hughes on the final night of the campaign.
Congratulations to our students on all of your hard work.
