University of Guelph's College of Business and Economics’ SIP Report

The University of Guelph’s College of Business and Economics (CBE) has submitted their Sharing Information on Progress (SIP) report to the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME). This report details the college’s activities related to sustainability and responsible management within the framework of the United Nations Global Compact between 2016 and 2018.
In 2018, the United Nations’ renewed CBE’s status as a PRME Champion [1]. In doing so, the college remains committed to:
“We are extremely proud to submit our third SIP report to PRME,” said dean Julia Christensen Hughes. “Our students, alumni and faculty are improving life by redefining leadership. We are responding to the changing business world and what employers are looking for in this next wave of responsible business.”
The mission of PRME is to transform management education, research and thought leadership globally by providing the PRME framework, developing learning communities and promoting awareness about the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. Each institution affiliated with PRME is required to submit a progress report every two years, detailing their activities related to the PRME.
