How have you improved your community?
"This past year I worked with my local Muslim community center where I ran their social media accounts and created blog content. This was done to keep in touch with community members as well as to create relationships with other like-minded organizations in the city. I was also an executive leader for my school's multicultural club. The club’s main goal was to promote diversity and celebrate the cultures that represent the student body. Through planned events, we were able to educate others and allow a safe space for those willing to share parts of their culture."
What does it mean to be named one of the Lang Scholars?
"I am thrilled to be considered a Lang Scholar! I am thankful that my achievements and involvement in the community are being recognized with such an honorable award."
Why did you choose to attend Lang at the UofG?
"I chose to go to Lang because of the importance they put on sustainability and responsible practices in the business world. This set Lang apart from other schools and made me confident that I’d be able to successfully integrate into the ever-evolving workplace."
How do you think business can be used as a force for good?
"I believe business can be used as a tool to bring the community together through CSR initiatives and sharing new ideas. Business can also be used to raise awareness on important issues and share your passion with others."

"In the future, I would love to work with organizations that positively impact society. I have many passions and would love to explore them through various work opportunities."
