Topic: Investigating functional interplay among Escherichia coli efflux pumps and their contributions to fitness

The 16th annual College of Biological Science's Undergraduate Student Poster Day is open to any and all undergraduate students participating in summer research projects in Molecular and Cellular Biology, Integrative Biology and Human Health and Nutritional Sciences (through USRA, URA, co-ops, etc.).  Door prizes and a pizza lunch will be available for all poster presenters.  Register with Dr. Nina Jones' lab at ugposterday@gmail.com with your name and lab advisor by Aug. 8.

The Ontario Cell Biology Symposium brings together researchers from around the province with the aim of creating new research opportunities and fostering new collaborations. This Symposium aims to provide a forum for students and postdoctoral fellows to present their research. This meeting will cover important topics in cell biology, including signal transduction, metabolism, organelles, cellular architecture, cellular trafficking and advanced microscopy, with a portion of the meeting dedicated to translational studies and emerging methodologies.
